Surfrider Foundation

Surfrider Foundation Australia is a grassroots environmental organisation dedicated to protecting the world’s beaches and waterways. 

After seeing our creative work with Friends of Bongin Bongin Bay’s World Ocean Day campaign, they approached Studio Oi to explore a partnership. We met in our Avalon office, and it quickly became clear that our shared values and community focus made us the right team for the job.

Surfrider needed support for their Adopt a Beach program, a campaign designed to tackle litter prevention across multiple coastal communities on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We began with discovery and strategy sessions, then dived in, from campaign taglines and copy to design, production and more. To ensure long-term impact and self-management capabilities for the Surfrider, we built project management frameworks, social media strategies, and editable Canva templates.

The result is a collaborative and dynamic partnership that combines Surfrider’s and Studio Oi’s shared passion for pristine oceans, amplifying awareness and impact across Australia’s coastline.
