Procore

Giving in-house communications a step up.

We were initially retained to provide design strategy, layout and print management for a 100+ page Sales Playbook for the world's largest construction technology company, Procore. We instantly recognized the opportunity to revamp this text heavy manual into a communications tool that celebrated Procore’s unique and fun culture, while boosting the content through added infographics and visuals that would make the content more engaging and easily accessible. The success of this initial Sales Playbook, led to our engagement on two editions of their Engineering Playbook, together with multiple other back-of-house support materials. While Procore has an outstanding marketing and design department, their creative focus had remained primarily on B to C communications and design, which opened up an opportunity for our team to support their back of house and build a suite of communication pieces they could be equally proud of.

Identity

Strategy

Our strategy centered on bringing Procore's world class culture to life in their back-of-house materials. We firmly believed that the Sales Playbook, our first project for Procore, was a doorway to connecting their team more deeply with the company values and culture. Through our meetings, we discovered that Procore was a pup-friendly company with an open door policy to bring your furry friends to work. We leveraged pup pics throughout the book and partnered them with inspirational quotes not only from the typical C-Suite featured in most company materials, but with quotes that celebrated the journey of all kinds of Procore team members. From recent graduates, to long-term team members to burnt out sales execs who moved to Procore and now have a new lease on life and work. We wanted to celebrate and humanize the journey people take in their careers....and thereby their lives. We continued to roll out this successful approach across two further editions of Engineering Playbooks and multiple other back-of-house materials.
